We have the following job requirement with one of our direct client in Coimbatore
Position : Purchase Officer
Experience : 5 + years (Relevant)
Job Description :
Ø Good English communication
Ø Experience in purchasing IT materials, office equipment, canteen items, cleaning items stationeries, company vehicle etc
Ø Efficient in vendor management
Ø Knowledge in ISO and documentation
Ø Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
Ø Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
Ø Support relevant departments with quotations.
Ø Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Ø Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures and ensure on time payment.
Ø Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
Ø Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
