Software Engineer
at 365 Media Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore
In this role, you will help to build, implement and support our client and internal solutions. You need to be well versed in software design and development using Microsoft products but interested in learning and developing with open source tools. This is a challenging and fast-moving environment where your dedication to quality is a key to success. Attention to detail, strong time management skills and pride in your work are required. As a Software Engineer you will:
• Participate in requirements analysis and technical design
• Create elegant solutions to programming problems
• Generate code to a specification ensuring quality
• Work as an effective team member
• Responsible for conformance to coding standards/guidelines
• Research new/alternate technologies and how they can be used to improve our product offerings
The ideal candidate should have:
• 2+ years of Web based development experience using Microsoft products (asp, asp.net, C#, Visual Studio etc)
• 2+ years of solid database experience.
• Excellent knowledge of ASP, ASP.Net and C#
• Excellent knowledge of DHTML, XML, DTD, XSLT and JavaScript
• Sound database design skills and complete understanding of relational database concepts
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and T-SQL
• Experience with AJAX / ATLAS an advantage
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Be highly organized and methodical
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree with strong technical background
• A "can-do" attitude.
