WANTED- Statistical Analyst
at Bharat Career Development Centre in Coimbatore
Job Description
• Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in finance, general business conditions and other areas.
• Performs quantitative analyses for various types of financial data needed in planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Complies and/or prepares accurate reports (i.e., billing variances, revenue breakdown, credit analysis, operating reports, etc.) and charts of data, to measure effectiveness of global pricing strategies
• Prepares the monthly forecast which includes updating the revenue model or internally generated forecasts for revenue, expenses, sales, starts and losses.
• Analyze sales data, margin data and regional market data
• Data entry and maintenance of the sales data
• Design questionnaire for business and market related surveys
• Data Collection, cleaning and submission in the required MS Excel or SPSS format
• Doing statistical analysis, should have experience in the following: Multiple Regression, Factor Analysis, Cluster analysis, t-Test, Correlation etc
• To write reports based on the analysis
• Take ownership of the reports written and answer client queries on the reports
• Managing and tracking timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Interacting with team members in knowledge sharing and development
desired Profile
• Post graduates in Statistics with preferable 2 year experience in sales or marketing analytics research.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Access, SQL and will be an added advantage with knowledge in statistical software like SPSS, SAS etc.,
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Must be comfortable with data manipulation, using a clear and logical style to collate and analyze data and be able to interpret and derive meaning.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should have strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Candidate must possess excellent English communication skills.
• Candidate should be persuasive and have ability to meet targets and project deadlines aggressively.
• Candidate must be proficient in MS Office and Internet search tools.
