We have an immediate opening with one of our client in Coimbatore, below is the detailed job description:
Designation: Planning and Vendor Development Engineer
Reporting to : Production Manager
Location: Coimbatore
Experience: 8-10 years
Responsibilities:
•Identifying and qualifying new vendors, evaluating their technical, commercial and capacity capabilities.
•Developing new vendors; assisting them in meeting technical requirements.
•Negotiating prices and terms of business.
•Working with new and existing vendors to constantly improve quality, price and delivery performance.
•Managing the supply chain for the assigned product lines, up to the point of receipt of vendor materials and payment of dues to vendors.
•Planning: Plan to day to day activities our production work. He will plan to daily, weekly and monthly plan. He will interact to production, purchase and qc department.
Skills:
•Ability to communicate fluently in English and Tamil
•Good understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication and foundry works
