Bouganvilla is looking for an energetic self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit to invigorate business! Operations Manager manages all hotel day to day operations, including front desk, maid services, reservations, guest services, maintenance and supplies.

Job Duties:

• Recruits, selects, trains, and manages employees to deliver superior guest services and quality products that will lead to maximizing revenue and profitability goals.
• Creates and maintains customer-driven operations, empowering hotel staff to excel in superior customer care.
• Evaluate current work procedures and work schedules and implement improved ones as necessary
• Ensures front desk staff to successfully handle guest needs, special requests, and complaints. Ensures all guest service issues are resolved prior to guests leaving the property.
• Trains front desk staff on proper revenue management procedures, including successful selling techniques, current specials and/or promotions, and rate structures.
• Works with Head Maid for manpower scheduling, monitors quality of all maid services.
• Supervises maintenance work. Establishes work priorities
• Manages/ procures hotel supplies, including all breakfast items.
• Develops, recommends, implements, and manages the hotel’s annual budget and long-term business plan. Achieves budgeted sales and maximum profitability.
• Creates new programs in response to market conditions and revenue opportunities.
• Protects the hotel’s financial assets by properly administering policies and procedures for handling cash, credit cards, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and all other financial transactions.
• Properly administers policies and procedures for protecting the safety of guests and employees.
• Prepares monthly reports for owners
• Ensures regular assessment and review of all hotel personnel
• Coordinates internal training and development programs.
• Strives to be innovative in new programs designed to eliminate waste and increase productivity.
• Maintains a high personal visibility throughout the property and throughout the community.
• Maintain relationships with travel agencies and business partners. Actively seek new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality management is a must
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business or equivalent with at least 1 to 2 years of hotel management experience.
• May consider hands-on of minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management/ supervision in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong leadership and a professional image.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service and public relations skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Working with owners in managing marketing and advertising, especially social media.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and property management systems.
• Excellent decision-making ability and analytical skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be motivated and energetic with the ability to manage current business and drum up new business
• Language Requirement: Must :English Good to Have: Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam.
